That's Not My Son!
I wouldn't say that my life had changed for the better or for worse, I would just say that it changed. The day started just like any other, I woke up at 6:45, made breakfast for Jake and myself, showered, and prepped for work. Once breakfast was ready, I called up to Jake, no answer as usual. When my wife passed, it hit Jake hard. No 12 year old boy should have to experience losing their mother. I was especially worried today though, it was taking longer than usual for Jake to come down for breakfast. I called up a second time, no answer. I waited for a little bit more, then decided to go take a look myself. As I ascended up the stairs, I heard a strange thump come from Jake's room. I called out to him again, no answer. I attempted to turn his door handle, but it was locked. I heard more thumps, and now a growl, as I attempted to bust open Jake's door. Wth my heart now racing, I used all my strength to smash it open. After repeatedly kicking the door, it finally crashed open. I dashed into the room, I didn't see Jake, he was no where to be found. But what I did see, was a 900 pound Grizzly Bear. I was frozen in shock, what had he done to Jake!? All I remember thinking was, "That's not my son!" Not knowing what to do, I stood there, completely frozen in fear. The bear just stared at me, as if we knew each other, he had a look of curiosity about him. As I regained my senses, I noticed that the bear was just sitting there looking at me. Jake was nowhere to be found, I didn't hear him leave, and didn't see how he could have left. I thought I was going to go insane, "I am dreaming, this is not real. I'm gonna wake up now! Yeah that's what I'll do! Just wake up." After thinking about all of my possibilities, I started to think, "Is this Jake, somehow?"

Chapter 9 Warm up
This takes places in a mossy jungle.
These people are test pilots.
They all face being lost in a jungle together.
They all have different ideas of which way will lead them out of the jungle. They all think they are right, this gets them mad at each other.
One of the girls, Alison, starts to go crazy. She begins hallucinating and lashing out at Alex and Amy.
Alex, Amy, and Alison are all test flying a prototype plane. As they are flying over a jungle, the engine fails and they crash land into the jungle. They all survive the crash, but are now faced with the task of escaping the jungle. They spend 3 days trying to escape the jungle. On the third day, they finally make it to the edge of the jungle and are free.

Alex's last mistake
"Give me the handle!" "No! How about you give me the lever!" Alex and Jake have been fighting over each other's items for an hour now. The water is rising, and the only way out is to connect the handle and the lever to open the door. "Alex, just give me the handle and I'll get us out of here." "How about you give me the lever, and I will get us out of here! I don't trust you." Jake snaps back, "Well I don't trust you! You're gonna lock me in here!" At this point the water was up to their thighs. "Alex, the water is rising. Please trust me." "Okay, fine. Just get us out of here." Alex's last mistake was giving Jake that handle.

A sinister morning
It was a spring morning, and a rather beautiful one. The wind was whistling through the trees, and the grass was bright and green. The children were all playing with their scooters and bicycles. Games of hopscotch and jumprope broke out. Elderly couples sat on benches, and power walkers were out for their morning run. With all the joy and games going on, it was easy to overlook the sinister being, hiding in plain sight. A hunter. A prowler. This predator gawked at the nearby children, aware of the threat posed by the present adults. The hunter saw everything differently. He didn't see children playing hopscotch and jumprope. He saw opportunities.

Women are selfless
If there's anything I can't stand, it's a man who treats his woman poorly. Women do so much for men! They make our food, they listen to what we have to say, they put up with our stupid shit, and tons of other things! Women deserve to be treated perfectly, and I'm not just saying this cause I'm a hopeless romantic. Even though I'm young, I can say I know how to treat women. I'm not boasting, just laying down the facts. I would never disrespect my woman, sure we have disagreements, but at the end of the day, we love each other regardless of any stupid crap that happens. I become outraged when I see men mistreating their woman, all I want is for every woman to feel honored and respected. My girlfriend means the world to me, and she gives me so much. I am disgusted at the fact that some men mistreat their girl, after all the stuff they do for them.
